Millionaire farmer’s ex-wife charged with conspiring to kill the father of her children
THE estranged wife of a millionaire farmer was yesterday charged with conspiring to kill him.
Angela Taylor, 52, was arrested and quizzed over the disappearance of Bill, who vanished eight days before his 70th birthday.

Family friend Paul Cannon, 53, was also charged with the same offence. Two men aged 18 and 23 who were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder were released on police bail. Mr Taylor went missing from his £1.2million home in Gosmore, Herts, at about 9pm on June 3. His body has never been found.
Police and forensic teams searched second wife Angela Taylor’s home earlier this year. Both defendants, of Hitchin, Herts, were remanded in custody to appear before Hatfield magistrates court this morning.

Eldest son Richard had posted a poignant appeal for information to find his dad, whose Land Rover was torched days before he vanished.
A Herts Police spokeswoman said: “Two people have been charged with conspiracy to murder in connection with the disappearance of William ‘Bill’ Taylor. Inquiries are ongoing.”
