Still Game series nine – When does it air, where can I watch it, and is this the final series of the BBC comedy?

STILL Game is back tonight for the second episode of its final series on the new BBC Scotland channel.
The Scots comedy returned to our screens on Sunday night – just months after creators Ford Kiernan and Greg Hemphill announced they would be retiring the characters.

From where to tune in to who’s set to cameo – here’s everything you need to know.
Where can I watch Still Game series nine?
THE ninth and final series of Still Game is airing on the new BBC Scotland channel.
The first episode featured on the channel’s launch night at 9pm on Sunday – after a special performance from band Chvrches and a one-off A Night At The Theatre hosted by Love Island’s Iain Stirling.

But episode two hits our screens tonight -Thursday, February 28 – at 9pm.
Viewers will be able to re-watch the final episodes later this year – when they air for the rest of the UK on BBC1.
Episode one left viewers divided – with many baffled after Winston called a square saisage a “flat sausage”.

Series one through to seven are also available to watch on Netflix.
We told how fans were “buzzin” after finding out episodes were available on Netflix.
And we previously revealed how some were left red-faced after a VERY rude Still Game subtitles gaffe on the streaming service.
Who’s starring in Still Game series nine?
Martin Compston is just one of the stars set to cameo in the new series
OUR Craiglang favourites have returned to the screen for the final series of Still Game.
With this being the last laugh for Still Game, the creators have lined up some fabulous stars to cameo this series.
Martin Compston, Amy Macdonald and Midge Ure will be amongst the big names joining the cast this season.
And Martin Compston previously told The Scottish Sun how he was desperate to appear in Still Game.

Amy Macdonald also dropped some hints about her role in upcoming series at the SSE Scottish Music Awards in December.
Are Jack or Victor going to be killed off in the final series of Still Game?
FEARS were sparked last year over the possibility that Jack and Victor might be killed off in the final episode of the new series.
But the Greg Hemphill and Ford Kiernan have remained tight-lipped about the fate of our favourite pensioners – and have even claimed they’ve dropped hints about the show’s ending in the last two series.

When is Still Game Live coming to the SSE Hydro?
GREG Hemphill and Ford Kiernan will finally retire Jack and Victor following a five-show farewell this year.
The actors will take their final bow at the SSE Hydro.
