Brewers fans boo Manny Machado during game (Video)

Category : Brewers , MLB

Dodgers slugger Manny Machado is one the most despised people in the state of Wisconsin right now.
Machado was blasted for kicking Brewers first baseman Jesus Aguilar during the later innings of Game 4, essentially trying to hurt or injure him on his way to the bag. Luckily, Aguilar was OK, but he could have suffered a serious leg injury, just because Machado was trying to send a simple message.
And don’t think Brewers fans have forgotten about it, either, which they made very clear during Game 6 of the National League Championship Series at Miller Park on Friday night.
Machado came to the plate in the first inning and faced the opposing fans for the first time, and he was showered with boos from the Brewers faithful.

We can expect more of that in Game 7.

Look: Corey Knebel caught cheating in Game 6, seen with shiny substance on hand

Category : Brewers , Featured Story , MLB

Brewers relief pitcher Corey Knebel entered Friday’s game in a tough spot during Game 6 of the National League Championship Series, and he shut the Dodgers down.
Los Angeles was beginning to get some momentum, cutting Milwaukee’s lead to 5-2, with David Freese on second base, and Max Muncy on first. Knebel entered the game with Justin Turner — the Dodgers’ best hitter — at the plate, and he completely shut the door. He got Turner to fly out, then struck out Manny Machado.
The Dodgers failed to muster much else during the rest of the game, and Knebel’s relief stint proved to be huge in helping the Brewers get to a Game 7.
…But what the hell was on his arm? Check out how shiny it was, hinting at a possible foreign substance having been applied to it.

It’s not the first time Knebel has been scrutinized, either.

Hardly a surprise with the Brewers, a team that was, most likely, tipping pitches in the first inning of the game, when they scored four runs — all of which came with a man on second base, in the catcher Austin Barnes’ line of sight.
Still, the Dodgers failed to notice, and Knebel got away with it. We’ll see what happens in Game 7 on Saturday.

Watch: Drunk Brewers fan kisses reporter during live shot

Category : Brewers , Featured , Featured Story , MLB

It’s a difficult job being a reporter, as they never really know what types of obstacles they might run into while doing their job. And these types of issues are magnified when alcohol is involved.
FOX 6 News reporter Ashley Sears ran into that exact problem after Game 2 of the National League Championship Series was in the books. She was doing a live report from a bar, when a drunken female Brewers fan swooped in and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Well this was eventful….

Sears clearly wasn’t happy about it. Here’s what she had to say on Twitter afterward.

Nothing good happens after 8 hours of drinking. Don’t be this person. https://t.co/qdtvHy8yma

Just imagine what would’ve happened if the Brewers had actually won the game.
